Mr. Nugent has over two decades experience as a New York-based investment banker providing financial advisory services to institutional clients, privately-held companies, family offices and investment firms. His experience in recent years has emphasized fundraising and advisory services for private equity and hedge funds, where he has assisted investors and fund general partners with consideration of key investment and fund marketing issues.
Mr. Nugent’s fund advisory capabilities are supported by earlier experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions in industry sectors including publishing and information, chemicals and manufacturing. He established and operated Nugent & Company, an investment banking boutique and fund placement agency. Mr. Nugent was Senior Advisor to Mitsubishi Bank’s Mergers & Acquisitions Division in New York and Associate in the corporate finance and M&A groups at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. and Wood Gundy, Inc. Mr. Nugent also worked as a management consultant at EcoPlan International in Paris, France and was an Energy Analyst in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of International Affairs in Washington, D.C. Mr. Nugengt earned a BA from Harvard College and an MBA from Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. He is a FINRA-registered representative at Pickwick Capital Partners. |
