Denise Filauro is a Registered Representative with Pickwick Capital Partners and Principal and CLO of Pellecchia International. She is a multi-cultural attorney with over 18 years of law firm and in-house experience in complex finance, restructuring and corporate transactions, particularly in Latin America and the Caribbean. Ms. Filauro is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French.
Ms. Filauro spent most of her legal career at the international law firm Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, where she represented a diverse array of clients, including corporations, lenders, institutional investors, banks, asset managers, hedge funds, creditor committees, governments and state-owned entities. Previously, Ms. Filauro gained in-house experience at the fintech Greensill Capital, where she assisted with the firm’s regional expansion in the Latin American markets. She also played a significant role in the legal leadership during Greensill Capital Inc.’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy process, which included 363 Sale of a key subsidiary. She was also actively involved in the managing Greensill’s assets and liabilities in the Americas. Ms. Filauro holds an LL.M. from Columbia Law School and a J.D. from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. She is a member of the New York Bar. |
