With over twenty years of experience in investment banking, asset management, and structured financing, Mrs. Yu advises high-tech, real estate, and fintech companies on capital formation and strategic transactions. Her firm, Thrive Alternatives, is an Asia-based financial advisory firm focused on fund placement for leading alternative investment managers.
Before co-founding Thrive Alternatives Pte. Ltd., Mrs. Yu was a Managing Director of Nomura Securities Hong Kong, heading the firm’s private finance origination in China. Earlier in her career, she was a high-yield bond trader at UBS Securities Hong Kong and later the Head of Fixed Income of UBS Securities (Beijing) Co., Ltd. Mrs. Yu earned a Bachelor's in Law from Peking University Law School and an LLM and JSD from Yale Law School. |
