The NuEnergen transaction represents Trivest’s 16th acquisition so far in 2017.
NuEnergen is a leading demand response aggregator and provider of consulting, energy invoice auditing, and smart grid solutions to commercial, industrial and municipal (CIM) electric power users in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic U.S. This transaction marks the 15th platform investment of Trivest Fund V, a $415 million fund dedicated to investing in founder/family-owned businesses. NuEnergen benefits from a scalable, recurring revenue model and maintains long-standing relationships with over 100 CIM customers throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
