Peter MacGuire

Peter MacGuire is a Managing Director at Pickwick Capital Partners and President of MacGuire Management Inc., which advises alternative investment platforms on , regulatory and capital raising activities. Currently, he is a consultant to MJ Hudson, where he focusses on providing North American based clients access to  various services and markets in Europe and European clients access to business opportunities in America. Mr. MacGuire has over 30 years of experience in the investment business with a particular focus on opportunities in the alternative investment arena. He is also active in the fund placement arena and is currently working with clients on their capital raising efforts in the US.
 
Previously, Mr. MacGuire was Head of Business Development for Wilkinson O’Grady & Co., a global equity investment firm; head of Evolvence India’s US capital raising activities; a founding partner of Rathnam, Hayat, MacGuire & Khalifa, an emerging market private equity firm; and assisted several early stage hedge funds in their business development activities. From 1993 through 1996, he was responsible for the organization of Coutts & Company’s portfolio management business in New York, as well as the development and oversight of Coutts’s alternative funds. Earlier in his career, Mr. MacGuire worked in the capital markets divisions of leading regional investment banks.
 
Mr. MacGuire earned a BA degree in the humanities from Johns Hopkins University. He is a FINRA-Registered Representative at Pickwick Capital Partners.
