Sakae Takushima is a Managing Director with Pickwick Capital Partners, where she focuses on capital-raising and strategic marketing advisory services for alternative investment managers. With over two decades of experience, Ms. Takushima works with U.S., UK, and Japan-based fund managers across hedge fund and private asset strategies. She utilizes her deep financial expertise to position and market offerings to institutional investors, serving as a bridge between U.S. and Japanese markets.
Previously, Ms. Takushima was a Co-Founder and Partner at Monitor Capital, where she built and led a third-party marketing firm for nearly 20 years. In this role, she advised clients on capital-formation strategies and cultivated long-standing relationships with pension funds, insurance companies, and endowments. Earlier in her career, Ms. Takushima worked at the New York branch of Mizuho Bank (formerly Fuji Bank) on direct investment activities and at the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency of the World Bank Group where she focused on the African mining sector. Ms. Takushima earned an MBA from the Pace University Lubin School of Business and a BS in International Business from American University. She currently holds FINRA 7, 24, and 65 licenses. |
