Takuo Katayama is a Registered Representative with Pickwick Capital Partners. Previously, he worked as an automotive engineer for nine years followed by over ten years as a sell-side analyst covering the auto industry. Leveraging his experience and technical background, Mr. Katayama has helped global investors with in-depth analyses and insights in the automotive industry. Mr. Katayama specializes in the global automotive industry, Japanese equities, cross-border business operations, and international corporate strategy.
Prior to joining Pickwick, Mr. Katayama was a sell-side analyst covering the global automotive sectors, most recently at Macquarie Capital in New York, preceded by Macquarie in Tokyo. He also covered the US capital goods sector for several years. Previously, Mr. Katayama worked at Daiwa Securities, Mitsubishi UFJ Securities, and Prudential Equity Group, all located in New York. Before becoming a financial analyst, he was an automotive engineer at Nissan Motor Co for almost a decade, splitting time between Nissan's main technical center in Japan and its North American center in Detroit. Mr. Katayama earned a BS and Master of Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Columbia University. He is a FINRA-Registered Representative at Pickwick Capital Partners. |
