Barclay Leib

Barclay Leib is the President of Sand Spring Advisors LLC, a NJ-Registered Investment Advisor focused on alternative investment due diligence. He is also a FINRA-Registered Representative with Pickwick Capital Partners focused on select capital introduction opportunities. Mr. Leib is a generalist in his due diligence focus, with a strong derivatives and macro trading background.
Mr. Leib spent the first portion of his career as a senior derivatives professional at JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Barclays Bank, and Societe Generale. He shifted to fund of funds asset allocation work in early 2000 running the Sand Spring Fund LP for high net-worth investors for almost a decade. He later was Head Trader for global L/S equity manager Glenrock Asset Management, and then became the head of Alternatives Research for Fortigent LLC until the firm was sold in 2014. Given his expertise in derivatives, trading practices, macro, and hedge funds, Mr. Leib serves as an Expert Witness Consultant in complex litigation matters and is an approved FINRA Arbitrator. Mr. Leib is a Wilson Scholar graduate of Princeton School of International and Public Affairs at Princeton University. He also holds the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations. |
