Douglas Greenwood is a co-founder and President of Pickwick Capital Partners, LLC and a co-founder of Academy Securities, LLC, where he currently serves on the Board of Directors. He has over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry, including commercial and investment banking, management, compliance and business development.
Mr. Greenwood’s prior experience includes 13 years at Alex. Brown & Sons and its successor Deutsche Banc Alex Brown, where he was a Managing Director in the Corporate and Executive Services Group. Earlier in his career, he held management positions at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. and Chemical Bank. Mr. Greenwood earned a BA from Princeton University. He holds the Series 4, 7, 24, 50, 52, 54, 63, 65, 79 and 99 licenses. |
David Danovitch is a co-founder of Pickwick Capital Partners and a current Partner at Sullivan (formerly Sullivan & Worcester). He has extensive transaction experience representing issuers, broker-dealers, and investment funds in financings, capital markets transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Danovitch handles both regulatory and transactional work for broker-dealers. His regulatory practice addresses virtually all securities-law related statutory and regulatory requirements applicable to broker-dealers and their affiliates, covering employee issues; sales and trading; development of compliance and supervisory procedures; satisfaction of margin, capital and recordkeeping requirements; the rules of the financial industry self-regulatory organizations; anti-money laundering; and privacy.
Mr. Danovitch has received many honors throughout his career, including being named by American Banker as one of the “50 Most Influential People in Banking.” He is a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences and is a Member of New York, District of Columbia and Massachusetts bars. He maintains several securities industry licenses, including the Series 7, 24, 79 and 99. Mr. Danovitch graduated with an AB degree from Kenyon College and earned his JD from Suffolk University and LLM from Boston University School of Law. |

John Pidlipchak is a Managing Principal at Pickwick Capital Partners. Prior to joining Pickwick, he was the President and Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) for Waypoint Direct Investments, LLC, the broker-dealer subsidiary of Waypoint Residential, LLC, a vertically integrated conventional multifamily real estate developer, owner and operator. Previously, Mr. Pidlipchak served as the CFO and CCO for Chertoff Capital LLC, an investment banking and private equity firm specializing in cybersecurity, homeland defense technology and government contracting. He also served as CFO and CCO for Arctic Securities, LLC and CFO and Treasurer of CRT Capital Group, LLC. both of which were broker-dealers providing sales, trading, investment banking and research services for a broad range of products to institutional clients.
With over 30 years of experience, Mr. Pidlipchak has also held various senior financial roles at firms including IMS Health, a $2 billion information, technology and services provider to the pharmaceutical industry, as well as Pitney Bowes Financial Services and Star Gas Partners, L.P. He began his professional career at Ernst & Young and is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Pidlipchak earned a BS degree in Accounting from Sacred Heart University and an MBA in Finance from Fairfield University. He currently holds FINRA Series 7, 14, 63, 24, 99 and 27 licenses and is a FINRA-registered representative with Pickwick Capital Partners. |
Mark Sauter serves as a Registered Principal and Managing Director of Pickwick Capital Partner’s investment-banking practice, focused on security and tech M&A. As Chief Revenue Officer, Mr. Sauter heads Pickwick's knowledge management and strategic initiatives. Prior to joining the firm, he led the Spectrum Group’s due-diligence services for private-equity investors in the federal and defense sectors; was founding COO of the Chesapeake Innovation Center and manager of its contract with the National Security Agency; and served as a senior executive in emerging new media and e-learning companies.
Mr. Sauter is a published expert on high-growth security and Big Data markets and co-author of McGraw Hill’s leading university textbook Homeland Security: A Complete Guide. Previously, he served as an Army officer in Special Forces and infantry units. Mr. Sauter earned a BA from Harvard University and an MS from Columbia University. He holds the Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses and is a FINRA-registered representative with Pickwick Capital Partners. |
