John M. Murphy is a Managing Director at Pickwick Capital Partners, LLC and the Founder and Principal of Hanover Square Partners, LLC, a strategic capital solutions consultancy specializing in financial institutions (FIG), institutional investors and financial technology (FinTech) companies. Mr. Murphy has a long and distinguished career that spans the financial services, financial technology and technology industries.
Prior to joining Pickwick, Mr. Murphy held various leadership positions over a 25 year career at Handspring, AvantGo, Funding Circle (FIG/CM), Goldman Sachs (FIG M&A), Banc of America Securities (Structured Products), Citigroup (Global Securitized Products), Cohen & Company (Structured Products), Amherst Pierpont (Securitized Products) and Piper Sandler (Structured & Securit1ized Products Co-Head), where he contributed to the deployment of capital solution programs that resulted in billions of dollars in transactions. He has also served on the Boards of Directors of private companies and organizations. Mr. Murphy earned a BFA in Design Graphics from The New York Institute of Technology and an MBA in Finance & Strategy from Washington University in Saint Louis. |
