R. Drew Ogden

R. Drew Ogden is a Managing Director at Pickwick Capital Partners, and the Founder and Managing Director of Ascentage Advisors. Mr. Ogden has over 20 years of experience managing and executing merger and acquisition transactions for technology-based companies, with a focus on SaaS businesses in construction, engineering, and manufacturing markets.
His role at Ascentage involves advising clients in the areas of strategic planning, channel expansion, licensing, international business, facilitating strategic partnerships, and exit strategies. He also serves on the board of directors of several of Ascentage’s clients. Prior to founding Ascentage, Mr. Ogden was the vice president of Legal and Business Development at Softdesk, Inc., a Nasdaq company that developed and distributed CAD software for architects and engineers worldwide. At Softdesk, he was part of the executive management team that took the company public and was responsible for negotiating strategic licensing agreements, spinoffs and multiple acquisitions. Ultimately, Autodesk (ADSK acquired Softdesk in early 1997. Mr. Ogden holds a Juris Doctorate from UNH School of Law and is a member of the Bar of Massachusetts. He is a FINRA-registered principal with Pickwick Capital Partners. |
