Robert S. Darbee

Robert S (Bob) Darbee is a Managing Director at Pickwick Capital Partners. He is located in New York City and has more than 30 years of experience in financial services. Currently, he is focused on raising capital for early stage companies, which he believes are where the real growth will come from.
Much of his earlier career was in asset management. He is the former President, The Bank of New York Trust Company, institutional investment arm of the parent bank. Earlier in his career at The Bank of New York, Mr. Darbee was the head of the Bank’s Institutional Trust Division. In this capacity Mr. Darbee worked with major U.S. institutions including CalPERS, Alaska Permanent Fund, WK Kellogg Foundation and the ATT Pension Fund. Additionally, he had been Vice-President - Department Head at various times for both private and institutional portfolios at the Bank. Responsibilities included oversight of research, trading and portfolio management. He held a seat on the bank’s Investment Policy Committee for more than 10 years. Subsequently, at Bankers Trust Company he served as Senior Vice President and Division Head responsible for private investments. Mr. Darbee earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from Lafayette College and an MBA in Finance with Honors from New York University. He is a FINRA-registered representative with Pickwick Capital Partners. |
