Ruth Epstein is a Managing Director at Pickwick Capital Partners and a Partner at BGP Advisors, an advisory firm focused exclusively on the legal cannabis industry. She is also President and CFO of Tuscan Holdings, a $276 million publicly traded SPAC-focused on the cannabis sector. Ms. Epstein has over 20 years’ experience providing financial and strategic advisory services to companies across a wide range of mature and emerging growth industries.
Most recently, Ms. Epstein served as Chief Operating Officer of BridgePark Advisors, LLC, an M&A advisory firm in New York, and as Senior Vice President of Business Development for Holt Media Companies, where she successfully sourced and negotiated the acquisition of a media sales company. Previously, she spent ten years at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York and San Francisco in the Investment Banking Division working on corporate finance and M&A transactions in high tech and general industrial for clients such as Yahoo, Wired, AutoZone, Dell Computer, Monsanto, Marcus Cable, FAO Schwarz, and Safeway, among many others. In addition to her IPO, high yield debt and private placement activities at Goldman, she has been actively involved in capital-raising and producing for an independent film fund, as well as raising capital for a hedge fund. Ms. Epstein graduated from Harvard Business School and Wesleyan University with academic distinction. She is a FINRA-Registered Representative at Pickwick Capital Partners. |
