Sam Grier, CFA

Mr. Grier provides investment banking services covering diverse industries – including Media, Communications & Entertainment, Business Services, Agtech/Food & Nutrition and Specialty Finance. During his career he has worked with seed stage, lower middle market and middle market clients in a variety of capital-raising and M&A activities. A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), his broad experiences include both investment banking and institutional equity/fixed income research duties for firms that include Merrill Lynch, Raymond James Financial, Barclays Capital and Nomura Securities International.
He has a deep appreciation for entrepreneurs and the challenges faced in raising capital and fostering corporate development. In addition to his Pickwick responsibilities, he is the CFO, Treasurer and Secretary of Cape Micro Science, Inc. – an Agtech seed stage corporation that is currently incubating with Rutgers University Aquaculture Innovation Center in Cape May County, NJ. Mr. Grier earned a BS from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Fordham University. He is a FINRA-registered representative with Pickwick Capital Partners. |
